Unique Boat Drinks

I just got back from Vegas where I took in the Jimmy Buffett show at MGM. While we were hanging out during the day we decided to check out Margaritaville and have some fun with the bartender and his recipes.

We decided to pull out an old classic. We ordered double Mai Tais.

The version that we wanted to drink was a little different. I guess the classic cocktails as handed down from one generation to another can change the odd time so we decided to change his recipe on the fly.

Here is our new Jimmy Buffett Mai Tai recipe.

1.5 oz. Silver Tequila
1.5 oz. Amber Rum
1 oz. Lime juice
2 oz. Orange Juice
Splash of grenadine
Splash of coke
Build over ice
Garnish with a cherry
