Some English friends use the term 'half & half'. What does this mean?

- Michael Woods

Half-and-half is a blend of equal parts of two beer styles such as mild and bitter, bitter and porter, or bitter and stout. Another popular term for this blend is called a 'mother-in-law'. Black and Tan is a popular example. Try it, you'll like it.

- The Beerologist
